$75 styling fee
The fee covers our time and shipping up to five frames to you. Additional frames have an additional fee, discussed in advance. Frames and lenses you buy are separate.
Appointment changes
The $75 fee is nonrefundable if you do not show for your appointment or cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of it, for any reason.
Card on file and returns
We securely save a card on file before shipping frames and provide a return shipping label. Please return the frames within three days of your styling appointment. If the frames are not returned within seven days of the styling appointment, the card on file will be charged a restocking fee in the full retail amount of the frames shipped.

Is virtual styling available to everyone?
No. Virtual styling is offered by request. We start with a conversation to determine whether our service is a good fit for you before moving forward. Submitting a request does not guarantee a virtual styling appointment.
Why choose Bright Side instead of an optical near me?
Choose Bright Side if you want our independent frame collection and a stylist to narrow it to a few options for your features, prescription, and personal style. You try the real frames at home with your own mirror and wardrobe, then get one-on-one guidance on what works and why. A local optical may be the better fit if you already have that kind of help nearby.
Is in-person styling still complimentary?
Yes. Guided Eyewear Styling at our Austin boutique is complimentary. The $75 fee applies only to Virtual Styling because it includes dedicated remote styling time and shipping frames for you to try at home.
How does virtual styling work?
Send a request first. Our team will start with a conversation to determine whether virtual styling is a good fit for you. If we agree to move forward, you will complete a separate Virtual Styling Intake with your style preferences and photos, so we can curate frames for you to try at home. During the virtual appointment, we talk through fit, color, proportion, style, and your prescription needs.
What does the $75 cover?
It covers our styling time and shipping up to five frames for your at-home try-on. More frames may be available for an additional fee, which we will discuss with you first. Frames and lenses you decide to purchase are priced separately.
When do I pay and provide a card?
This form is a request, not a checkout. We first have a conversation to determine whether virtual styling is a good fit. If we move forward, our team will confirm availability, collect the $75 fee, and securely save a card on file before sending frames. Do not enter card details in the request form.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
The $75 fee pays for our time and is nonrefundable if you miss your appointment or cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of the appointment, for any reason.
